Complaint Review: Aspen Venture Group

This home build is our worst nightmare. Having a new home built should be an exciting and fun process, this was the total opposite. Not only was the construction delayed, but Aspen Venture Group, (the developer Principle: James Landers) and Wade Contracting Services llc (the General Contractor Principle: Alan Hudson) cut corners to the point the house has multiple code violations.

Here is just a few of the code violations, there was no insulation in the attic and I had to point it out. That one pretty much the only code violation they corrected, becasue we didn't discover the other till later. Here are the rest, nearly every set of stairs case we have are not to code, there is no insulation in the floor, the window are not to code and not inpact rated, the garage is not impact rated, there no proper railings on two stair case. There is unwrapped electrical wires in mulitple places, the patio and two areas in the front porch are not to grade and forms puddles and there's a lot more to that list. Oh and on top of the they sent two men to my house to threaten me when I started complaiing. I have two separate police reports of the incidents and if it could get worse it did. Oh and the paint is peeling everywhere. I could go one but I'd have to write a book. To this day niether company is taking any accountablity how they left this house.
