I will make this short and sweet..I ended up in a position where I could no longer make the payment on time and they supposably set me up on a program where if I pay 60.00 towards my balance I would not have any more charges put against my credit card, late fees, etc. And that I would be able to pay 20.00 a month until it was paid up. But low and behold on the next statement there were charges for over the limit and late fee, etc. So I called them back and what do you know, no one has a record of the deal they made with me..so I stopped paying them. If they can default then so can I...But now I have a judgement pending against me for 1488.00 on a credit card that had a limit of 300.00. And 175.00 of the limit was the initial set up charge (for Aspire)from me because of past credit problems. I am currently not working, due to disability. I feel they should stand behind their word and I do not feel that I owe for their misrepresentation. I would not deal with this company at all. And should there be a Class action law suit, I would like to be notified. Thanks!

A judgment is meaningless if there are no wages to garnish....SSDI cannot be garnished either...It would be a waste of their time to pursue this action. You should inform them of this.

Aspire is a highly predatory card carrier. This particular card is designed to make the user fail so that that a $300 limit card can end up being $1,500 + in late, over-the-limit and whatever other creative fees Aspire pulls out of its @ss.

Too bad you had not seen this site prior to signing up...
