Aspire Visa ripoff Atlanta Georgia

Aspire Visa is the worst credit card I have ever owned! I was approved for this card last year and paid a $100 annual fee along with I believe a $65.00 account set up fee. There was also a $6.00 a month maintenance fee.

Now, a year later I want to close my account because of three reasons. First, they never raised my creditline even though I have never been late. Secondly, they do not have a customer service number where I can speak to a human. Last but not least, Aspire Visa is basically a loan shark. I have a Paypal Visa with NO annual fee or maintenance fee.. do not get an Aspire Visa.

My complaint is that I sent in payment in full overnight to this company. Well it has been longer than overnight and the payment has not been posted. The due date is coming up in a few days and still no payment posted. I can't call their customers service number to discuss this because people are not on the other line!

I wanted to close this account and pay it off before the due date so I could avoid their outrageous fees! I forgot the best thing about the Aspire Visa card --- THAT IT IS NOT REPORTED on my credit report. All the on time pay I have been making to them has basically done nothing for me.. what a scam...

I am NOT paying this annual fee or the set up fee again. If I have to physically drive or fly to their office to settle this I will because I am tired of being ripped off by people who are basically lazy and run a crappy business..

GO TO THE TOP. GO TO THE CEO.

These people have to be "franchised" by Visa. Therefore, one place to make a complaint is to Visa USA. Carl Pascarella is the CEO, and he is located in Foster City, CA. Search it out on the WEB. Notify him that these are predatory lenders, and ask that they be terminated because their actions appear to border on the criminal, to you.

It is time that Visa and MasterCard were held accountable for 'franchising' these scum-bags who Rip-Off people just trying to get along. They pick on those who need help the most.

The less you use your Credit Card, the better off you will be, although there are times when it is important to have one, such as making a hotel reservation. But do write to the CEO and tell him your story. Go to the TOP for action.

I am currently dealing with Aspire VISA over an issue and ran into the same problem -- I could not find a phone number. I did some research and you might try the following numbers:

888-237-6878

800-348-8783

888-565-5816

770-206-6200

Good luck.
