Aspire Visa ripoff Atlanta Georgia
Seems like they get mad if you pay off your balance. I did (all 1400.00 of it) and the day my check cleared, i called to cancel my account I even asked if they needed a certified letter. They told me no. The next month i got another bill saying I owe them 75.00, pretty funny AFTER I canceled my acct.
This so called company is nothing but a big scam out to rip you off. Oh yea by the way don't bother trying customer service (or anyone that speaks english) there is none unless of course you mention to them that you turn them into the bbb. When I told them that all of a sudden they told me I didn't owe them a penny - how funny that changed their tune real quick!
The rep then gave me her phone and ext telling me that if I have anymore problems to call her and she will fix them we'll see next month if i get another bill with more late fees, for a purchase that I never made-after my acct was supposedly closed. From now on I think I'll just pay cash!!!

30.00 credit for 150 days thats what the letter says and they're still charging late fees!!!!!!!!

well , here it is - next month - new bill balance of 46.57 for having a zero balance?
After contacting the bbb I recieved a letter from Gwen Clark (executive correspondence staff) aspire stating that those were late fees. FOR WHAT ? Having a zero balance. Thats what her letter said ZERO.
Anyways two days later I recieved a check for 30.00 attached was a letter stating that my acct. had a credit balance of 30.00 for 150 days with no other activity ! So why did I get another bill with late fees for a ZERO balance.
So, here we go again another complaint with the bbb we'll see what happens.
By the way I have these phone numbers if they will help anyone 1-877-463-4011 1-800-348-8783. I don't know if they're automated or not , I don't bother with the phone anymore I'm trying certified letters now maybe they will work.
