I was on the payment plan..0% int. for about a year..paid $35 a month never late and then all of a sudden I get a call. They said my payment was late, then after speaking with a man (who couldn't speak english very well), he admitted they did receive my payment before the due date. I asked why they were calling me, he put is suppervisor on the phone and he denided it and said the previous gentleman could not understand me and got confused, how is it my problem they don't understand english. I have been fighting this battle for over a year....We need a good lawfirm...please help!!!! One more thing, why is it that they are unable to speak and understand english very well but, have common names like Mike, Sharon, and Frank?????? Are those really their real names???

Do you really wonder about the American sounding names?

The future of "customer service" are call centers located in India. Oh, wait- the future is here and now. Next, do everything in writing: get a copy of the check you sent Aspire, front and back. Send a copy of this check with a letter disputing the "late" notation they put on your file. If they can't prove you're late, they'll remove the mark. You need to do this in writing, however, per the terms of their consumer agreement.
