I am a Father providing for a small family. In the recent past I have had several problems with dealing with this company. I do admit that I am behind (cause of serious medial problems with my wife).

I have been trying to set up a payment arrangement with them and another credit company, but was belligerently disregarded and written off as a person that is trying to avoid payment of my account.

I am an honest person and am trying to make ends meet, but still I have an enormous medical overhead. My wife had cancer and we spent a great deal to keep her here with us. I have two small children whoes needs come first over a credit card dispute.

The last person that contacted me was deliberate in her mistrust of me and my situation, and who called me at work no less to harrass me about my account. She was not even willing to accept my terms to payoff the amount. I also received word from my wife that she called my home as well.

This person made quite clear that I had not been cooperative in setting up her payment arrangements. She also was rude to my wife on the phone. What ever happened to customer service? I have worked a telemarketing job in the past and have been in the same position that these people have. I understand, but the customer in my opinion is the one that pays my salary, so I had better treat him or her with respect, even in a payment dispute.

I would like my story to be placed on the internet so others may be informed that there are laws protecting the consumer from such harrassment. I will not subject my family to this and contacted the company via email saying that if I was called on the phone ever again that I would file a counter suit for harrassment with the Attorney General of Georgia and the USA.

I have not had a phone call since, and still just receive notice in the mail. I hope that this helps others so they are not continually badgered into something that is not budgetable or even feasible. Please let others know so they can find peace of mind and make a valuable arrangement.
