Asplundh Tree Expert Co Asplundh Butchers Trees in Whitby, Ontario
From reading the site, looking for ways to complain I see I am not the only home owner plagued by Asplundh Tree services and their lack of skill or care. I knew hydro would send someone to trim the trees back, they do yearly. This year was the first year mine have been truly butcher beyond repair. One of my trees they took half the tree up the middle.
Hydro shrugged when a supervisor came, the Asplundh employees said they had to although it's 5+ feet back from the lines nw and other trees are still in the lines. My tree is now an eyesore thanks to Asplundh.
If this is the service they offer, I hope people choose not to personally use them as they obviously have no skill or care for trees.

Five feet of clearance on a maple tree? Hydro sends someone out every year to prune it? If I was a hydro customer I would be mad that they are trimming trees once a year. They need to trim them far enough back so they only need to be trimmed once every four years at a minimum! What a huge waste of money ! That cost is passed on to every electric customer in the system!
