Complaint Review: Assertive Management

 This guy who calls himself Dan, contacts you via email telling you that they're a new management company and they found you on IMDb and they want to set up a phone interview with you. He calls from a blocked number and asks you all sorts of questions to ' see what kind of personality you are' and tells you it's ok that you don't have enough experience but he loves your personality and he might give you a chance. And you're lucky he's contacted you because they only represent 12 clients. He sounds very polite, chipper and upbeat. Problem is that I remembered him from 6-7 months ago when he contacted me regards the music video casting I applied to. Same story. Oh wow you have such a nice personality, I really like you, you remind me of my friend and I'm willing to give you a chance. Next step is a fave to face meeting at Starbucks. Which is followed by invitation to his place. Of course there's name dropping and promises. Girls, don't fall for it!! There's no shortcuts!!
