Asset Acceptance LLC sent letters plus phone calls to collect a debt that I suppossely have with a store. Warren Michigan
I have received phone calls and also received letters from them stating that I have a debt from a store and that they are simply collecting that debt. When I have asked them to disclose the name of the store they refuse to do so.
They have also stated perhaps I have been a victim of a identity theft.
Yet when I have ask them to take me to court for this debt they just simply end the phone call. Later a month or two I receive a letter in which they infor me that I should settle this debt by simply making payments. I strongly believe that this is a fraud. WATCH OUT !

Call and verfy your information and they have to tell you what the acct is for and upon you request they have to send you validation of this debt as long as you provide a good address call them at 18772773850 and if the debt is valid then work something out if its fraud they will tell you what you need to do to get it fixed...i know i have been through it with them

Lots of useful information on these bottomfeeders.
Fight it - they are required by federal law to provide you with that information.
when they refuse it is usually because they do not have a legal way to collect the debt and cannot validate.
DO NOT IGNORE IT - You can sue them for violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. You have to write letters demanding this information. They will ignore verbal requests
Send all letters certified mail return receipt so you can prove they received them
