Complaint Review: Asset Management

I received a notice that I owed Acceptance Management Co $882 from a debt for Ballys/Daiwa. I had no idea what this was as I've never dealt with a company named Ballys or Daiwa, so I called the toll free # to speak to Mary Burton. She told me it was from a debt incurred in 1990. I blurted out "That's 16 years ago!". She said "So what, it doesn't matter if you owed the debt for 50 years." I told her I would be handling dealing with them in writing and hung up.

I did some research online on statutes of limitations, and am confident these losers are getting money by scamming others. Please read about "Zombie Debt Collectors" and you'll understand how Asset Management Co works and is successful at scamming people.
