We also did repairs at all properties , installed handrails , fixed broken windows, patched  holes ,installed smoke detectors and 9volt batteries, repaired light fixtures, and winterizations w/ 100 lb pressure test, installed light bulbs this is all at the contractors expense also your paying your men for working.    BIDS I did bids on some work at these properties such as going 40 feet high to cut big tree limbs away from the house or cleaning out rain gutters .LOOK  this asset management specialist company are crooks and liers. PLEASE look at the money I Invested out of my pocket to do this work and then have to wait 45 days to get paid ,  well the 45days is up for me and on each property  they only paid me$126.00 for a total of $504.00, THIS company makes me sick, AS a CONTRACTOR I ABIDE by THE LAWS, THE economy is already in bad shape and work is slim and yet we have to deal with a company like this.TO my fellow contractors you have the right to contact the brokers at these properties and you have the right to put a lien on the property keep this in mind  If this happens to you, AND also contact fannie mae headQuarters and report them as well.

They are the worst company to sub for.  I always thought it just happened that way (the price fall, if you can even call it that when they don't pay anything for services) but it's starting to look as if they plan in that way.  Get contractors in to do the work as they establish their own crews, then as they grow, they the subs services have to be done free of charge or they will lose their lawns and they try to weed out the ones who got them going in the first place.  We currently make 1/10th of what we did when we first started working for them but do the same amount of work.  In the meantime the keep purchasing equipment so I believe their goal is to not use contractors at all.  It would be nice to be able to take a stand.

Wow, you got paid? Thank god for that. I use to work for this company as well. They are what you say. Conartist. They will take advantage of you any way they can. Employee or Contractor it doesn't matter. They will get you. I worked as a contractor for Asset Management for close to 5 years. I know so many people here that they took advantage of. Now you are lucky you even got that much. They will rip you off every second they can. I belive they will not have the next M&M contract here.

The 5 years I worked with them everything went down hill. You could see the prices falling. They want you to do everything for nothing. (or almost Nothing) then you have to fight to get what is rightfully yours. The work is hard enough as it is. I didn't have time to fight for my money. So I left that company.

Since then one of the Man guys out of PA (I won't mention no names but if he reads this he will know I am talking about him. Lee) contacted me to be a employee for the company. Would not put nothing on paper. Gratefully I told him NO. That was the best choice I could have ever made. I got screwed once why give them a chance to do it again.

I know they will not get the renewal of the HUD contract. Someone else will get the contract and take care the houses the way they should be. They will have a mess to clean up though.
