I too, along with the community funds, have been mishandled by Association Management Group. Since I bought this townhome roughly four years ago, HOA fees have gone up 40% with the on-going promise of improved amenities.

The initial reasoning was that our lawn maintenance crew was experiencing rising gas prices, therefore we had to compensate. We have since contracted a new company, one in which the HOA board told us was less expensive than the previous, and the fees continue to increase. From here, someone thought it would be a bright idea to hire a full-time pool attendent to sit at the pool, even during non peak hours. While he is a nice guy, I don't appreciate that his 8-hour day encompasses doing shirtless yoga and watching UFC videos by the pool. The next raise was for ongoing pressure washing. My unit has never pressure washed, except for by myself. We were then promised column replacements as our current columns are extremely deteriorated and likely to cause structural damage to the units. This is my biggest concern and the board continuously ignores my inquiries for a status update on the column replacements. In the midst of all of this, I have had lawn maintenance concerns that have gone on for almost a year now.

I have sent numerous emails to Dacy Flynt and Paul Mengert to no response. It seems the company is only concerned with raising HOA fees and not seeing to the needs of the community.  Like the previous writer, I too was towed just last week for parking my car in the visitor lot while I took my motorcycle out for 30 minutes! It is time that someone brings some responsibility to this group and I vow not to stop until proper action is taken.
