Complaint Review: Assoociated Services Inc/Cancost.com

On 12/15/07 I googled a Play Station 3 to get a good price and placed the order. I received automated emails on 12/15/07 from Cancost that they've received the order. On 12/21/07 I made the wire transfer from my bank and On 12/25/07, after reviewing the email sent from Cancost, I sent the email they requested verifying payment. This email was NOT returned.


I tried several times to call them on both numbers to no avail and the only email inquiry I sent using my email client was returned undeliverable. The one I sent to them using the website was not returned. After searching the web (thanks to GOOGLE) today, I found this website who indicated that others have been victim to this company as well.

Needless to say, I spent the better part of 2 1/2 hours calling agencies, bureaus and filing online reports to get word out that this company is bogus.

If noone noticed, on the contact us page the word inquiry was spelled incorrectly (enquiry). This should have been a red flag, however, I missed it, it was too late.
