I was contacted by Assurance Plus on October 9, 2006 to offer me a home- based business opportunity that included three affiliate programs. I was told I could make lots of money advertising for E-bay and Amazon.com. They were the only ones who had a complete package deal and could even sell me advertising using targeted visitors.

I was told there was a 100% money back guarantee and I had nothing to lose. I asked for the guarantee in writing and I was promised it would be in my starter kit. The third program was an online casino. I was opposed to the idea of gambling but was told that was where you could get your money back.

I was given example after example of how other people had made lots of money advertising the online casino but not a lot of money was made from the E-bay and Amazon.com sites. This was a bait and switch tactic.

I did agree to the program after spending nearly 2 hours on the phone. I asked lots of questions and were assured over and over again the program was 100% guaranteed and I simply could not lose.

I was charged $595 for a business start up kit and $4315 for the targeted visitors.

A week later, Matt Cowie called me to say he was my personal coach (after Assurance Plus had charged my credit cards) to get my websites set up. I never hear from him again even though I called and requested help.

I had a website through CJ (commission junction) that tracked the visitors that went to my website. After 3 months and no money I got concerned and called support and emailed them. I was told it was too early to make money.

As stated in the 100% guarantee I had to try a new form of advertising on my own, each month to qualify for the refund, so I did and keep up with proof of each of the 6 different methods over the 6 months period.

I found out sometime in February that online gambling had been outlawed but I was not told or refunds for the website they had charged me for.

After 6 months, I returned the starter kit, showed proof of my 6 different forms of advertising and fully expected to receive my refund of $4909 as promised in the 100% guarantee. I returned their merchandise by certified mail and it showed T.Seth signed for it and it was received on April 25, 2007. (I had 30 days to return and request a refund after the six months time was over-my 6 months was from Oct. 20, 2006 - April 20, 2007)

I called after two weeks of not hearing from anyone about my refund. I talked to Jodie on two different occasions -May 11 & 16 but still got no satisfaction. I called back after another week and left a message on voice mail. Jason called me back on May 24, 2007.

I told him I expected a full refund but he said he could only refund $395. As of May 31, 2007 my credit card company has not received even the $395.

I told Jason I was making every effect to let them make this right and do as was promised. He said he could not refund my money so I told him I would contact my credit card company for a chargeback.

Jason told me only 1 person out of 38 who had filed for a chargeback got it. They had lawyers and they had papers we had signed when we joined and I would be charged an additional $300 to pay for their administration charges if I did a chargeback plus I would still have to pay for the money they charged on my credit card. Where is Satisfaction?

I hope many people read this report about these dishonest people at Assurance Plus and Internet Strategies LLC. I am very interested in filing a civil action suit against these dishonest people- crooks they have become. I am interested in talking to a lawyer or anyone who can help me get my money back and put these crooked, dishonest, and deceptive people out of business.
