Assurant Took payments after cancelling insurance Miami Florida

I purchased renter's insurance due to the recommendation of the apartment complex (AComp) I moved into.  I made payments from Oct 2014 to June 2015.  However, Assurant cancelled my insurance, without notifying me, in Mar 2015, and continued to take my payments.  The Asst. Manager of my AComp did get me a refund for my Jun 2015; however, Assurant will not talk to me about giving me a refund for the months of March, April, and May.

Assurant is nothing but an interent based company that practices ripping people off.

If anyone else has a similar problem, I suggest contacing the State Attorney General office of your state of residence.  If we get enough such complaints, perhaps a class-action lawsuit can be brought against this company.  And maybe we can put them out of business permanently.
