Have photos of the underside of my GE washing machine detergent drawer whereby there's no longer a piece to screw into - so that the front /handle of the dispensing drawer stays attached to the drawer. They initially claimed this wasn't covered because the detergent drawer is a "Convenience Item" - not a term in the warranty. They told me to throw the detergent and BLEACH directly into the washing drum and to switch over to dryer sheets.

Next they told me their warranty only covers MECHANICAL FAILURES also untrue.  Finally they told me that this isn't covered because the SCREW that - if there was a place to screw a screw into on the underside of the dispensing drawer - the screw is a "Consumable item".

As others have clearly described - Assurant's goal is to deny, deny, deny and to frustrate a consumer to the point where they'll go away.

I have filed a consumer complaint with the Attorney General, State of Michigan, Consumer Protection division. Complaint Identification Number: 2019-cp12061145261-A

Blowing up twitter and I've got a complaint opened with GE appliances who hopefully will pressure Assurant because they're the ones that sub-contracted out the extended warranty to this unscrupulous company.
