Complaint Review: Assured Mortgage Bankers

This company inflates fees (and you know there are many) associated with mortgage closings, arranges for a kickback from third party service providers they choose, and then pockets the overcharge.

DO NOT WALK, RUN FROM THESE GUYS!!!!

Also, they continually delayed closing, promising closing dates that just drifted, while saying not to make the mortgage payment on the existing loan being refinanced.

Finally, last minute, they came in with an artificially low appraisal, defeating the purpose of the financing.

Dealing with this guy is like dealing with organized crime (draw your own conclusion here).

I know of at least two other people to whom they pulled this scam
