Do not use this company for anything Pardons, Waivers, nothing. I used this firm in 2009 to get a Canadian Pardon and received one. Seeing that the United States does not reconize a Canadian Pardon I used them again in 2011 to assist me in getting a U.S. waiver. I had done my own waivers in the past but was told they could get me one faster and that it would be a five year waiver not the one year waivers I had been receiving previously.

As normal I went and had my fingerprints done and paid for and asked that the RCMP send the report of my record to Assured Pardons of Canada so they could process my package and send it off. On March 23/ 2011 Assured Pardons of Canada stole $476.00 from my visa card. Unknown to me at the time , the rules for submiting a waiver had changed on August 26/2007 you can no longer mail your waiver package you must take it in person to a border Port of Entry along with $585.00.

All this time I'm thinking I have a waiver in the works because I'm dealing with a legitimate company?? I don't know when or why Joe Black and Assured Pardons of Canada decided to start ripping there customers off but I can tell you that I will do everything possible to try and put you out of business. Joe Black is a Thief. Once he has your money his service with you is over. He will not return phone calls which he has directed thru an answering service. He will not return emails and if by some miracle he does contact you , it will just be more lies.

I went to try and contact him but as it turns out he has no office ,all he has is a mail box. I would think if Vancouver is a mail box then the other five city's he has listings in are probably mail boxes as well. Now that I see it laid out in front of me......Its quite the scam you got going Dirt Bag. You maybe hiding now but I'm sure my lawyer or the police will be banging on your door shortly. This waiver may have only been another $476.00 to you Joe Black but this was suppose to be my wife's 30th wedding anniversary gift. You have ruined flights, holidays and a cruise that took friends months to organize so we could all go together. Now it will cost us thousands as we will not be able to go.

On January 05/12 my wife sent Joe Black an email begging for him to help get this waiver business done as our cruise was already booked and we needed to process my waiver urgently.

He contacted my wife by email at 12:09 a.m. on January 06/12 and said he would finish it in the morning and then call her.

As usual with this Company and Joe Black the morning came and went. At 2:56 p.m. my wife being totally fed up with the whole situation wrote Joe Black another email and advised him that she was calling our lawyer and the police and we would be appling for our loss as well as compensation for the money we will loose having to cancel our trip.

Joe Black called us at our home pleading with us not to do this , as this whole mess was just a misunderstanding. He advised us that he had been ill and in hospital and was unable to run his business and was very sorry and so on and so on.He continued to ask not to get lawyers and police involved.

Being so mad with him at the time I had my daughter speak with him and explain the impact of his failure to act , irresponsibility,extremely poor judgement , extremely poor service , etc...etc...

Once I had cooled off abit I got back on the phone and told Joe Black that I wanted my money back , I wanted my paperwork for my waiver and that I would be letting him know what the cancelation charges were going to be and expect him to pay for them as well.

I am writing this review because Joe Black did refund $476.00 to my Visa and he also sent my paperwork back for my waiver. Now he also gave me another phone call to make sure that I received it.

I advised Joe that yes I had and also advised Joe Black that I was being billed $1866.00 for cancelation charges by the cruise line would he like to pay that now as well before wasting the courts time , and now Joe Black has this attitude that I am to blame and that I never should have booked my holiday until I had a waiver in my hand. Now let me get this straight Joe........

I hire you March 23 /2011 pay $ 476.00, I pay to get my fingerprints taken and sent to Ottawa RCMP on March 24/2011 , they date the report March 25/2011 and send the report to you. Because you sit on it for month, after month, after month , it's my fault that I never got my paperwork back from you so I could go to the border and apply for my U.S. waiver back in April or May 2011 when I should have , had you been doing the job that I hired you for in the first place.

You are a real piece of work, you are Joe Black. And by the way, to end this email off I would just like to let you know that after seeking legal council , I'll see you in court , and we will be looking for more then just the $1866.00 that you have tried to stiff us with not to mention screwing up our travel plans for our 30th anniversary. You have caused us nothing but hardship and headaches and there is absolutly no reason why you could not have posted something either on your website or thru your answering service that you were ill and in hospital.......I still doubt this excuse.....very unprofessional at best.

You should'nt have left all of your customers hanging for months on end as if you vanished.
