Complaint Review: AStar - All Seasons Travel

Hi,
I am writing once again (last entry Jan19/05) to let you know that I have been contacted again by AST, now under a new name, but I forget it.

History:
I got suckered in, they charged my cc then the next day I called back and said that I wanted to cancel it. I told them I did not know it was in USD and fought hard with them on the phone...they did end up refunding me all but $30 cnd (exchange rate difference). So basically, I got all my money back but it was a good fight.(since they had me on tape)

Anywho,
Now they have called me to say "I am calling to let you know that we are offering to you the same deal with 4 easy payments of $37.50usd since you were not able to make it last time"

No joke, that is what he said.

So now they are offering the EXACT same package, yes for 4, but for a total of $150usd! How does that work? How is it possibly legit? They wanted $695 usd last time and now they only want $150 for the same deal!?

Guess that means they are making $545usd on each deal that they do!!

So, I did not buy it just in case you thought I did. :o)
Watch out. If they have called you once, they will call you again.
Call display just says FLORIDA.
