On Saturday, July 27th, two males in a white van approached me while I was at a stop light and offered to sell me a home theater system that their boss received as an overshipment. They showed me a receipt and a magazine that had the speakers that supposedly sold for $1,299. They opened the box for me to show that I was getting a new product and not a box of rocks. They also offered to write me a receipt in the event I was not satisfied with the product. After getting over my skepticism (of thinking they had stolen merchandise), I decided to give it a try.

I decided to go on the Internet to request some literature from the company and was pissed to come across the 'ripoff site'. I have yet to hook up the system and for fear of disappointment it may just remain in the box (which has more value than the system itself). I'm a little upset that this was not broadcast to the news networks. I also question how this site has helped me. I've already invested $350 in what I now know to be a bogus product.

I do not think that there is any OTHER scam that has so much publicity than this. You can see the plot every day in news, in movies: strangers in the street offer merchandises with questionable origin and value. People buy them, then at home they recognize that they are fake.
You have never seen this? You were never warned?

Yes, I know, that you expected some kind of "breaking news" from CNN. The reason you cannot see this, because this scam is old, not newsworthy. In the last 3 years there were many reports on this in tv, papers, Internet. Not only here, in US, but in Europe, Australia too.

This site can help if you come here to check a busines/company before dealing with it. There are around 200 speaker related reports here. You can help people by posting here, warning others about Astro Enterprises.

Something other, read the info about Astro from a report here - you can find an address where you should go.
