After paying $90.00 a month for placement on YP.com and receiving two clicks a month, I decided to cancel any future advertising with AT&T Ad Solutions. Reading the fine print on my contract I saw that I had to notify the Company at their headquarters, in writing. On November 12, 2010, I sent a registered letter stating I was canceling all future advertising with AT&T Advertising Solutions. A Ms Lowen of the Florida Call Center Sales Office kept calling me to order new adverting. I informed her I had cancelled all future advertising.

She persisted in calling and then sent a registered letter saying she was exercising the automatic renewal clause in the fine print of the contract. I immediately sent out several registered letters with copies of my November letter stating that I had complied with the terms of the contract and I was not renewing my advertising. I received a phone call from a supervisor at the call center apologizing and saying all my advertising was canceled. Yesterday I received a bill for a new advertising program, never ordered or authorized, which indicates 12 payments will be due over the year. I think something illegal is going on here.

I keep calling the customer service number on the invoice and never get an answer. It just keeps ringing. I sent copies of all the registered letters along with the invoice to the billing address and will see where that gets me.
