Sept of 2008 i was contacted by AT&T advertising about putting an ad in yellow pages to help my business. I decided to place the ad and a few weeks later i received via fax a copy of the ad copy everything looked good so i signed off on it. The ad was in place as of Oct 2008 on yellow pages .com. I was very busy and traveling allot for my main business the yellow pages ad was for a home inspection company that i own , real estate is bad so i was not getting many calls for inspections.




The calls i was getting none were referred by yellowpages.com, so i thought i would call my rep to see if there was anything we could do to tweak the add or something. To my shock i could not find my ad anywhere on the yellow pages site and conveyed this to my rep. He called me back and informed me that my home inspection ad was placed in the wrong place and put where termite inspectors are. Keep in mind i had been paying almost $80 a month for five months, i was not happy and told him to take down my ad immediately.




I also ask for for compensation but Richard my rep decided not to return my call anymore. I called customer service and explained my case and was told there was nothing they could do, but they would ad more color to my ad at no extra charge. I did not think this was except-able and ask that the ad be taken down, i was told no. Fast forward to April after making more then ten calls to my Rep he finally answered the phone since he was not returning my voice-mails.Richard was apologetic and told me he would take care f everything and not to worry, he said he would call me back in the morning...... i never heard from him again.Every month my statement would arrive and i would call and explain myself to a new person just to be passed on to another person who didn't care.It get very frustrating having to explain your whole story over and over again to an AT&T rep i even had a rep hang up on my while i was on a three-way call with another customer rep who VOWED to help me..... never heard from her again either.




It is now Oct of 2009 and no one  at AT&T has helped me out, last week i got a call from them giving me a name and number to call of  woman there that was handling my case. I called the # and as it turns out the ext # they gave me was not valid. I mad a few more calls ( wasting my valuable time)and was informed that tonya would be handling my account but she was on another call and would call me right back.... that was two weeks ago. Some one told me that AT&T motto is "were not happy until your not happy" I now believe that, i refuse to pay my bill and now i want a refund for the five months my ad was not properly placed.
