AT&T Broadband ripoff dishonest fraudulent billing Colorado

Not only do I not know who AT&T Broadband is, they do not exist in my state of Indiana. Yet, I was charged $145.00 for services that I did not request and in a state where their sevices do not exist!

My bank is in the progress of refunding the money charged to my master card, but they were not very hopeful of acquiring the money taken from my account.

The charges were extracted by someone using my card number in the Western section of the US--Colorado in this case. Another web-band service, Qwestcom, was also charged to my account, but they were most helpful in returning my money to my account. They also were familiar with the bandit techniques of AT&T Broadband.

If you use your credit card online for anything, be careful. It seems that these companies rely on this mode of acquiring funds. And,when called, the phone number on my bank statement results in a typical AT&T tone with, "The number you have reached..."
I hope to have funds returned to my account within 10 days, according to my bank.

Perhaps the FCC needs to be involved in the investigation of this company?!

Have you considered to close your accounts? To get new accounts? If your credit card/account number out, you will be charged again and again. To fight fake charges every month?
