I recently finished a contract with Nextel which ripped me off terribly, but to the point, I called AT & T to replace the cell phone with a home telephone ( I made it clear to them I wanted a home telephone ).....When we contacted them about installation date ( They required $ 75.00 up front because I don't have great credit, so okay they got that ) they tried to say I ordered cell service. I cannot believe this company tried to do this to me. Beware of AT & T - I have to work this out with them, but believe me, I was VERY CLEAR about wanting a
house telephone, not wireless...this looks like another scam to trick people into ordering service they don't want.
