AT&T/Cingular Wireless Fraudulent billing, defective products, faulty information from sales representatives, unwillingness to fix problems rebate rip off Anaheim California
Dear Sir or Madam:
I have been an AT&T customer for several years. The service has been fine up until the recent merge with Cingular. Afterwards, I was given erroneous information to encourage me to upgrade my phone. I was told that I would get a large rebate, that I would have roll-over minutes, free roaming, isync and bluetooth on the phone, free mmode trial that would be disconnected later if I did not want it, and a working camera on the phone.
I never received the rebate, the roll-over and free roaming were only useful with a cingular plan, not the AT&T plan--causing my bill to skyrocket. The isync and bluetooth and camera never worked properly--thus making switching phones ludicrous.
The phone ceased working after having it for 2 months and the company refused to replace it...and then suspended my service for non-payment though I payed $300 weeks before and would not owe another $300 if they had given me the rebate and honored the roll-over free roaming.
