AT&T ConnecTech They still charging my husband credit card for totally usless services stoped on 06/13/2011 Internet
We got AT&T for a very short time jus tbefore a long trip. Pretty soon it was obvious that we hardly could use the interent and and could do almost nothing for emails, except very short ones to private persons. We contacted their Tech support and it was the worst we ever encountered. Somhow, not having any other choices trying to still use the computer, we signed up with them but nothing was mentioned or clarified about a long term commitment, it mostly looked like paying when use it. As I already mentioned it was a nightmear and a awufull frustration, so as soon as we came back and signed up back with Optimum, we called AT&T to end services with them. We did everything they instructed us to do, sending back their equipemts and paying the last bills and we're happy to be off the nightmare. Only very recently we notices that a Cr.card monthly bills for &15.15 was still charged, that my husband for months, confused with HP technical support. So we called them and told about not having AT&T since 06/13 this year, and so this billing made no sense at all, but to my husband surprise we're told that he aggread for a 12 months contract with them ?! That is so dishonest, a tricky darty strategy; you can 't use their system, so have to try their horrible tech support, which is for no help at all, just for frustration and headache, and then you find out that have to pay for this misery for a year even though, you're not with At&T anymore, for the very basic reason of not being able to use the computer and the Interent with them ?!!
