I called my customer service number on my Cingular(now At&t mobility) on June 13,2007 to change my rate plan from pick your plan which is a monthly payment plan or pay as you go where you just add minutes as you go. I told her the $69.99 plan that I was on I didn't need because I didn't use as many minutes as it provided. She assured me she would be able to change my rate plan and make sure the money on my account wouldn't expire. She put me on three way with and andria in the payment center and andria was able to stop the reoccuring charge from my account and told Christine to make sure that I did not lose my money that I already had on the account. Christine assured that this wouldn't happen.

We proceeded to change my rate plan to where it would charge a $1.00 a day to use my phone which was what I was happy with and hung up. Well on June 17,2007 I go to use my phone and it's saying I don't have any minutes on my phone when I had over $70.00 left on my phone.

I am pissed off by this time so on June 18, 2007 I call the toll free number again and talk to a Eukeeko and she puts me on hold for 15 minutes and comes back on and tells me there's nothing she can do because there's nothing noted in the account. I ask for a supervisor a Susan comes on the phone and states she's the supervisor and I explain my situation to her and she puts me back on hold for another 15 minutes and comes on and tells me the same thing Eukeeko told me. I told her that I would go another route then to get my money refunded.

I immediatley file a complaint with The Ohio attorney generals office. The responded fairly quickly by email and about 4 days later I receive a call from a girl named Valia who supposedly works in the President's office of AT&T. She gets my cingular number and says she will have her research team investigate.

I play phone tag a couple times with a girl named Natalie who was supposedly was with the office of the President as well and have recently left her messages on 7/2/07 and 7/03/07 with no response. Figures cause when I check my email today I have a reponse from the Ohio Attorney Generals office with a settlement offer from At&t stating that there's not record of me calling on 6/13/07 and that I stopped my reoccuring payments from online ( if the stupid idiots would look at their go phone website selfincharge.com they would see you can't stop payments online for go phones so that's obviously a lie) and said that the only way I could get my money back is if I reinstate my prepaid account with them and they would credit my account.

I already have a phone with another company so that will not do me any good and why in the hell would I want to deal with a company who lies and steals AGAIN?????? Anyways I am now thing about pursuing a lawsuit and wonder if anyone has had a similar incident with this crappy company.

Very mad consumer
