AT&T Rediculous, No Sense, Passing The Buck!! AURORA Illinois
I told a customer service representive that my Husband & I want to set up an online account, so we can access the Call Log. We want the monthly list of calls, and when made. He said that we had to subscribe to AT&T Internet Service Provider in order to get a registration code. He transfered my call to another department. I spoke with another representative and requested a printed copy of all calls on our account for each month. She made me wait on hold for several minutes and I had to finally hang up the telephone and go to work at Meijer.
We pay less than $10.00 per month to People PC for Internet Access Service. AT&T rates are between 35 and 40 dollars a month, they are much more expensive than People PC. We have been customers of AT&T for more than 10 Years. We want to track the calls during each month, so we stay within our 50 Calls Allowed Plan. We are speaking about our Landline Phone.

It sounds like you want to have a list of calls you place from you landline phone. First of all you DO NOT need to have ATT DSL to have that information. Nor does it matter if you have access to your ATT account online. BY LAW (set forth by the Patriot Act) No one shall have access to a local call detail unless requested with legal action. In other words you need to file a subpeona to have access to your local call detail for local calls. This was put in place from the FCC. ATT or any other local service provider needs to abide by this. We do place LONG DISTANCE on bills if you want. Sorry about the inconvience but on another note:
