Complaint Review: AT&T

AT&T reps will tell you anything on the phone to get you to sign up... Here is what I was told and here is the entire situation.

what I was Told:
4 boxes free because of promotion, along with free HD service for 1 year.
$250 in gift cards will be sent to me
Installation will be free
Service will work
Total monthly Charges before fee's etc will be $112 for first year

What really Happened:
4 Box free promotion DOES NOT EXIST it was a blatant lie
$250 gift card I was told "I never heard of that" customer care rep Jerome
Charged $85 for installation
Service did not work for 2 weeks, and ATT charged me $55 additionally to have a rep come back out to fix it.  They were out here at my house 5 times in 2 weeks in order to get things to kind of work.
My first bill was $335
The Monthly charges are actually $145 before the $30 dollars in Fees?  really?

So I called AT&T and they are USELESS not willing to pull the call from when I signed up to validate my truthful non exagerated story and would not fix a d**n thing other than the install charge.

STAY AWAY FROM AT&T they are the biggest liars in the industry and will tell you anything to get you to sign up.

They are Cheap also, rather than setting up U-Verse the right way they are cheap asses who ran fiber to the node not the House.... Step your game up like Verizon FIOS.  Verizon please come to wisconsin you will make a killing bc AT&T SUCKS
