Recently I accepted a 0% interest rate from AT&T Universal Card for which I'm being charged interest. They also tacked on a 'Credit Protector Fee' which I did not order. They claim that I accepted it based on an original FREE offer. Yet it it's FREE, then why am I being charged for it? Not only do I not remember the conversation, but if it occurred, the ONLY way I would have accepted is if it were free.

I called a rep today with the credit company who issues this card and they assured me that they would discontinue the 'Credit Protection Fee', but it was at their sole descretion whether or not they would refund my account or not for a service I had not ordered or requested (credit card fraud). They also claimed that they would credit back the interest to my account and returned it to a zero percent rate (returned???).

My advice - don't ever trust them or use their services in ANY compacity. This company is bad news all the way around. Can you say Class Action Suit anyone? If you're ready, so am I...can the attorney who's willing to take on this huge corportation please step forward. I believe you will have more than a few clients lining up to make this company answer for their sins (and illegal dealings).
