Complaint Review: AT&T Universal Card

I've had my card with AT&T for over three years and this past 2 years have been horrible. One month I was late with my payment and they jacked the rate right up there. Recently I made a payment of 75% of my balance and they still charged me a late fee.

When I asked about lowering my rate they simply told me they couldn't. Several of my payments were on time according to the date stamped on the back of my check, but they charged me a late fee. I know my payments have been on time, but due to the fact my bank doesn't send me my cancelled checks anymore(just photo copies of front) I don't have any proof.

When I can find a card with a lower rate THAT I CAN TRUST, I WILL switch. I wouldn't recommend this card to anyone. Unfortunately, I also have a card with Citicards. They are the same company. They don't tell you that when they send you an application in the mail.
