AT&T Wireless, Cingular Ripoff will not honor my original $120 mail in rebate offer and reduced it to $70 with no explanation Anaheim Hills California
AT&T was offering a $120 mail in rebate for purchasing a phone and switching over to give them your business. I called to check on the status of my rebate and was told that I would only be receiving $70. After wasting hours on the phone with customer "care" the rebate center, I received no indication regarding whom was responsible for this decision that would do nothing other than set new customers off. I was given no remedy either.
Of course to originally receive this offer you had to sign a 2 year contract. So, I am stuck doing business with these swindlers for the next two years.
Anyone else have this issue?
