In August of 2007, I called AT&T to see how much it would cost to change my service to the Family service which included a new phone for my family all on the same account using the same minutes.

The person that helped me took the details and said he could change me over right then without any problem. The only services were supposed to be something on the order of less than $150.00 for a new phone, etc.

The bill came and I was charged over $350.00. When I called the talking heads at AT&T they offered a discount of a couple of dollars and a thousand of the minutes lost (I had over 4000 minutes on roll over and the first guy I talked to originally said I wouldn't lose those either.).

The next two bills had more charges of over $180 and $130 respectively.

The talking heads at customer service will do nothing but offer some minutes and ignore the lies they employees make. They claim every phone conversation is recorded but what good is that if you don't go back and enforce your own rules.

AT&T is a real kill your own customer kind of place. Like a virus!!! (Sorry, I'm pissed)..... The second AT&T took over Cingular, customer service went right into the toilet. And why they hire crooks and liars is beyond me.
