I just noticed a charge for AT&T worldnet service for $11.95 on my long distance phone bill on line. I immediately called AT&T long distance and complained that I didn't recognized the charge. I also asked how long they have been charging me.

The operator from another country said that they have been charging me for the Internet service (that I didn't order) for over a year now but could only refund me for last 3 months. I asked for his supervisor and complained about the bogus charge.

He stood firm that AT&T's policy is to refund for 3 months. I told him to cancel my account immediately since I couldn't give business to a unethetical company, which steals money from consumers by inserting bogus charges.

I really don't want to pay my last bill but I know they will report me to the credit bureau. It is really upsetting to think that there is so little I can do.
