These People were told I was not going to continue at Fitness for her...They continued to steal the money out of my account. No one at the local level would do any more then tell me they would contact Oklahoma City and let them know. I finally had to go to my bank which of course cost more money to stop payment. Found the old membership card with the 800 # and called. All I got from them was you should have filled out the form, what form? no one told me anything about a form. Gal saids its in your contract. Really..Bottom line is they took my money for 5 months and cost me additional funds to stop it at the bank.
These people are the most dishonest people I have ever had to deal with. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Going back to the Gold gym or Planet Fitness

You signed a CONTRACT, that pretty much means that if you DO NOT follow the CORRECT procedure to cancel your account then they will continue to bill you for the life of that contract. Its all pretty straight forward. You cant just "tell them" your not going to stay. You HAVE to file the appropriate paperwork. But since you did not they continued to bill you.
Whats so hard to understand about this? This is YOUR fault for not follow the correct termination procedures. Why is it that people like YOU CANNOT accept the responsibility of their own actions?You think its perfectly ok to post a negative review about them when THEY did nothing to you. THEY did not rip you off. THEY did not scam you. THEY were following the terms and conditions of the contract that you BOTH agreed to. This ENTIRE situation could have been resolved by you doing your part originally. There was paperwork when you started here, there will be paperwork when you leave.
And dont think the other fitness places are going to be ANY better. THEY will also have you sign a contract and THEY will also expect you to fill out the correct forms to cancel your contract. YOU need to accept the fact that YOU screwed up THIS situation. If you even get one penny back from the bank for the past five months then YOU will be the SCAMMER!! THEY held up THEIR end of the contract and had a place ready at a moments notice for you to go and work out.
Your mind is a muscle as well and it NEEDS to be worked as well. Its obvious that you will not accept your role in all of this. The ONLY consolation that fitness center is going to have is that YOUR IGNORANCE will continue to cost you later in life. THEY did NOTHING WRONG. You should be ashamed of this post and ashamed of your own actions. You have SLANDERED AND DEFAMED a perfectly legitamate business. Thankfully THEY have a legal remedy for you. Its called a CIVIL case. I certainly hope they DO sue you. YOU need to be taught a lesson and this might be the best way to teach it to you. YOU CANNOT USE THE WEB TO LIE ABOUT PEOPLE OR BUSINESSES WITHOUT PUTTING YOURSELF IN DANGER OF BEING SUED!!! The web is a media outlet and as such ANY person or business that you LIE about has a good solid action they can take against you.
