Complaint Review: Atlanta Flat Rate Movers LLC

 Used them for a move back in June. The crew showed up on time but was clearly inexperienced and didn't have enough supplies (shrink wrap) which ended up being the reason several pieces of my furniture became damaged. This inexperienced crew removed my dining room table from the home without taking the legs off of the table. As a result scratching the table on both sides beyond repair. Upon delivery, they parked the truck too close to the garage door and when unloading my dresser gouged the top. I was informed that if I filed a claim that their lousy employer would take it from their paychecks so I didn't bother as these are young men trying to make an honest living and what I would have received as payment would not have taken care of the damage.

Additionally, as we had a different crew move all of our boxes and small belongings, this move was only for 2 bedrooms of furniture, along with living and dining furniture. The lack of experience made this move take 6.5 hours. We spent an 1.5 hrs arguing over the damage they caused and they had the audacity to charge me for it (was charged for a total of 8 hrs). When I disputed the charge for the 1.5hrs they just charged the credit card they had on file for my deposit. I would NEVER do business with them again and for everyone of my neighbors who has asked me about them I have told them to stay away.
