Complaint Review: Atlanta Partners Property Management

Atlanta Partners Property Management is unwilling to refund a full deposit for a property I never signed a lease for. Atlanta Partners Property Management has informed me that there will be a $300 admin fee taken from a deposit I put down on a home for rent. They sent me a "Statement of Rental Property" before showing me the home. This required three separate fees. A $60 application fee, $25 lease preparation fee and a $1450 payment to "Hold" the home. The application fee and lease preparation fee were made Friday 06/03/2016. The $1450 payment to view home was made Monday 06/03/2016 at 1:40pm.

I was shown the rental property on Tuesday 06/03/2016 at 3:00pm. During that showing I informed Angel Gibbs that I did not want to proceed with the rental because it was disgusting and she said they would deduct $300 from that deposit for an "admin fee". In the "Statement of Rental Property" they sent, it clearly states that only after they have sent a lease agreement to me, would there be a $300 fee. I have never received any lease agreement.

I tried contacting the company directly through a telephone number (678) 597-5888 and spoke with Ashley Waterfill. Ashley explained that the $300 admin fee would be deducted and it was not optional. While trying to reason with Ashley she said she was done talking to me a hung up. I feel I have no other choice, but to seek help from a third party. Please consider my complaint.
