Wow, where do I start? Well, after a Google search I came across another ripoffreport.com post from someone who purchased a car from Atlantic Auto Sales in Garner, NC. I am glad to know that the 95 reviews which gave this business a 4.2 rating on Google were NOT from former customers. However, these reviews were either bought by the owners or from family and friends who created fake Google accounts and paid to post a good review about Atlantic Auto Sales.
First, Jamil and Rafat (Rat) are paying off DMV officials.
Secondly, Jamil and Rafat along with Capital City Auto Repair are involved in an emissions scheme. This is where the government officials come into play.
Last, but certainly not lease, cars on the lot are NOT being inspected and the majority have serious mechanical defects which could harm you and your family. Buyer beware. Also, most of the cars at Atlantic Auto Sales have been wrecked. Like a previous posted, I purchased and shortly there after ended up paying thousands of dollars in repairs. And, to make matters worse, they refused to even wash or vacuum my car at time of purchase. Complete Scum!!!

If you say you saw a negative report, why did you buy? If you bought the car "As Is", what did the disclosures say about mechanical problems and who would pay for them? Did you even READ the paperwork? You claim they are involved in bribery? Do you have the substantiation of that when and if the libel suit is filed?
Don't get me wrong, the Sleazy American Car Business has a well earned reputation. Because of this, you need to be a SMART CONSUMER to avoid the slime and to READ the terms of the sale and understand when you buy an "AS IS" car, you do NOT get free warranty service.
