Atlantic One Financial Services ripoff Scammed me out of money fake credit card company Milford Delaware
I was called on July 22nd of 2005 by Atlantic One Credit service. They wanted to offer me a unsecured credit card. They told me it was a one time fee of $319.00. I had them withdrawel the money out of my checking account. They withdrew the money but I never recieved the credit card and cell phone for signing up as they promised in the time told to me that it would arrive.
I was told that I would recieve the credit card in two to four weeks, along with a free Motorolla cell phone for signing up with them. It has been over four weeks still no credit card and cell phone. I called the 1-800 number that they gave me. A rep named Greg Owen told me that I needed to sign a release form before I could recieve the credit card. I said fine I never recieved a release form. They told me they sent one on August 9th. I said I never recieved it. He said OK we will send one out to you. I got the release form.
To my horror it was not from any real credit card company nor a bank, but a fake form that any one could make up on their computer or typewriter. the form wanted my signiture, my name printed, my social # my bank account info. I did not send this form and contacted the Federal Trade Commission ASAP. This company is a scam. I have tried to contact this company since and all I get is an answering machine or service that says, a customer service rep will contact you in 24 hours. I think the company is no longer there or just not answering the calls.
