i rented from them starting in dec 2013, the house was not cleaned, had many things wrong with it and after 5 months of constant problems and unprofessional as well as unethical behavior from this company i have terminated my lease.

the house is in Avensong subdivision on Aventide lane, do not rent from them, no matter how bad you need to rent a home, 

the 1st 2 weeks of moving in were a nightmare, toilets were leaking, closet doors were not secure and fell off, closet wire  b racks were coming out of wall, they were not installed in studs only drywall, one tub would not drain after a quick shower and it was due to paint being pored in the tub during home renovation before i moved in, it caused a leak that dropped out of the garage ceiling, which caused an emergency situation in my garage where i still had furniture and boxes stored ,when plumber came out to do quick repair, he showed me the paint debri that had corroded and clogged the gasket in the drain as well as long black hair, i have short blone hair, it was a putrid stinling grey water mess, cable outlets in walls had been cut so i could not get tv or internet until i had another company come out and install very expensive ! could not get home alarm because cable had also been cut, i found out this home was a foreclosure that had been bought, barely rehabbed , then rented out, it is sub par to say the least, the ceiling in garage had to be cut open to rlease water from tub leak and now  6 months later is still a gaping hole in the garage,  water spigot in backyard attached is cut off, ,  blinds in dining room were not installed properly so they have fallen down so much i had to leave them on floor, my many calls and emails went unanswered, they changed the payment system a month after i moved in and i signed up for auto draft from my bank account, they withdrew money 3-4 days before rent was due and i only authorized this method from feb-march, as i was  not going to continue leasing if repairs were not made and the company Aptexx illegally withdrew both april, may and june rent until i notified them i will seek legal action and have already notified my bank, this morning i received an email from aptexx saying they cancelled the last withdrawal after reading my email to them , laminate floors are uneven because subflooring is warped and it slants in 2 of the 3 bedrooms, the closet doors fell off the track because they do not have tracks on the floor to secure them, only tracks on top so they are not secure, they could have easily injured someone when they fell, they never sent anyone to repair any of my compalints only people to give estimates of all the work needed, until i gave them notice on March 31 that i would file suit i, then i had a family emergency and had to leave town  on april 1, for 2 weeks,but i authorized them to enter my home to do repairs and had my neighbor commited to check on work while i was gone. Company that was hired refused to do work or enter my home unless i was present i was told by manager in matienance when he called me 2 days later.

Upon my return i called to let them know , i would no longer rent from them and i would be moving to another state to care for my elderly disabled mother who had just been released from hosp after open heart surgery,i asked if i could terminate my lease, for go taking leagl action and was told by Katie Griffith the property managemrnt  employee, that no i could not  without having to pay rent for may, and june and half of july, as well as my deposit of 1500, my rent amount is 1500 a month and is suppose to include a swim tennis membership, end of may i tried to use pool in subdivision and found i could not enter without a key, when i called the office i was told they would find out how i can use it, that was a week ago, i recieved an email from an employee saying the hoa had not returned her call, i sent back an email asking her to please contact me afyer 5 days had passed, my neighbor who is also a renter, but from a landlord who is the home owner told me that the owner gave her a pool key when she moved in.

i have read up on tenant landlord disputes , my lease should be legally terminated because of all of the things wrong with this home and i have pictures and video of all the things , as well as copies of all of my service requests and correspondance 

i am in the process of moving out this week as i did buy a home in another stae closer to my mother, so i may help with her ,as well as go back to school, i have an excellent credit score, and am financially stable, i did not rent this house because i could not afford to buy, only because i was not sure what area i wanted to buy in so i decided to rent until icould figure it out and i have friends who are homeowners here in Avensong.
