My elderly parents received a letter from El gordo Spanish sweepstake saying they had won 615810 thousand euros, and to fill in form enclosed to atlantico grupo security company s.a
this wanted their personal bank details which alarmed them and they passed letter to me
As it happens they had bought a ticket on holiday and thought they had won

Immediately suspicious I went on el gordo website and found lots of scams posted

They were vunerable but had the good sense to ask
Others may not
Beware!!!! Details are good even a water mark on the letter
True professionals I think

They nominate an agent with a tel no, these are mobiles as all mobile sin Spain can be bought and not registerd anbegin with a 6 after the country code

They ask only for a remittance charge and even quote a winning ticket no
My parents were lucky, others may not be so be very careful
