ATLANTINC MOVING SYSTEMS - AMS - ALLIED MOVING SYSTEMS theives rip off artists con men HOLLYWOOD MIAMI Florida
I started doing business with a company called Atlantic Moving Systems in Hollywood, Fl. , everything seemed on the up and up, deposit sent, date scheduled, and so on.
Then one day I mistakenly received a call from Eli Ashkanazi, letting me know Atlantic had closed its doors - he really didn't mean to call me, they already had money from me - he was calling people who had contacted them, but hadn't sent any money yet, just to let them know they could not help them with their move.
Eli assured me that another company had bought out the existing customers "accounts", deposits included.
It took me days to get a name and phone number out of him - only by continuously calling the cell number that appeared on my phone, and harassing his wife Jessica, who always answered the phone.
I called the company he referred me to - North American Moving Network and spoke with someone named Bob. Bob told me that a bunch of employees from Atlantic quit and started their own moving company. Bob said they had all my info and they would handle the move for me - but my deposit was still with Atlantic -which he told me was going by the name Allied Moving Systems.
Here is the info Bob gave me:
Brothers Eli and Mosha Ashkanazi are the "ring leaders", Eli being in charge.
Phone numbers: 954-923-2955 888-966-8377

Addresses: 1747 Van Buren

Hollywood, FL
(this is the Atlantic address)

Fortunately I only gave them a deposit - and not even as much as they originally wanted - and they didn't disapear with my things.
What do I need to do to get back my money - and make sure this doesn't continue, because they are obviously in bussiness and ripping people off - still.

North American Moving Netowrk is NOT LICENSED!
#2Consumer Suggestion
Fri, May 14, 2004
NAMN applied for a broker's license on March 26, 2004, but was rejected for not having insurance. Any consumers who have had their accounts bought by NAMN from Atlantic Moving Systems should send a certified letter, return receipt requested, canceling their move. Here is their address:
North American Moving Network
15431 W. DIXIE HWY BAY#6
NORTH MIAMI BEACH FL 33162
When you have the return receipt in your hands, you have proof that you have canceled the move, and they cannot charge your credit cards, demand deposits, show up at your door, anything.
