This has been going on for more than 3 wks. And I've had more than enough. It started out where they would call and ask to speak with my husband, when I told them we did not take sales or soliciting calls they got really angry, cursing, call me names, (" Wheres the man that writes the checks b**ch"). Hanging up seems to be the only option. I've asked them to take me off the calling list, They don't much like that either. But everytime they call its the same vulger language, and screaming through the phone. I really want it to stop.

I work for Atlas Contractors, Inc. (heavy construction/asphalt sales and a legitimate and reputable business) and have gotten calls from all over the US wanting to know if we are the rude SOB's calling and being so terrible to whoever answers the phone. I read the rip off report on a regular basis, just seeing how this whole thing is going to play out. Obviously Atlas Contractors, aka Atlas Supply,aka West Builders Supply, aka West Supply, aka Cal Pacific Products, must be operating well within legal guidelines, because they are still calling. I just received one myself this afternoon and just said no thank you and hung up. A bit ironic, I guess. Just for an FYI, they were trying to sell us Diamond Saw Blades. I see from a previous post that Atlas Construction Supply (also a legit, reputable business) actually posted on their website that they ARE NOT those pesky fellows from Tempe, AZ calling. I have to explain the same thing on a weekly basis to people. I know the calls are beyond rude, but we have rights too. We have the right to hang up, and move on. The funny thing is, why the heck would they think anyone would want to buy product from them after they talk to people so badly? It takes all kinds to make the world go round. Don't take it personally people!

Not everyone in this company are "jerks". i myself take people off the list when asked.. but to take yourself off the list is the best way. Salesgenie.com that is where the list comes from. business to business is not illegal to call. why answer from a blocked number anyway. If you go to that web site and have your name removed it will shortly dwindle into nothing. after the leads disappear... no more calls. it takes one bad apple to ruin the bunch but we are not all bad "salesmen". i treat people the way i want to be treated. with respect and honesty.
