Complaint Review: Atlas Flooring Inc Las Vegas NV

I purchased laminate flooring for my living/dining area in December, 2008 for apx. $3200.00.  I have taken excellent care of the floor using products that they designed appropriate. For the last year I have been trying to get Atlas Flooring to correct what is a warping and pelling of the floor.  Also, from the start parts of the flooring are not under the baseboard that they recommended and installed.  All they would offer is installing "shoe" molding around the floor, that will not correct the problem.  Also, I was not only ignored and told lies, but sworn to by the manager on occasion.

Finally I had had enough of this treatment and took the matter to the Nevada Contractor's Board in Las Vegas. To qualify for their assistance my manufactured home had to have been made into "real property" which I paid for and had done. Kevin, the manager, and the Board came out and Kevin agreed that the floor was installed incorrectly and would remove it and re-installed it.  After that meeting I no longer heard from the manager.  Finally after their 20 day notice to correct the Nevada Contractor's Board was going to take over and try to solve the matter.  Yesterday unfortunately we found out that when I converted it to "real property" the manufacuting home people or our county dropped the ball and only the land was converted not my home so the contractor's board now has no jurisdiction.  This leaves me with a floor that is a mess and not solved and a company that will not do anything to correct the matter.

Do not use this company unless you want to get ripped off if you ever have a problem.
