Complaint Review: Atlas Mouse Pads

I ordered two custom mouse pads from Atlas Mouse Pads in Canton GA. I uploaded artwork, gave my credit card info, and received an email invoice. When the mouse pads did not arrive in 10 days The day I ordered, 12/5/2006, I wrote a thank you to the contact email address and the email was returned undeliverable, code 5.1.1.

I waited until 12/23, no mouse pads had arrived, and wrote Atlas Mouse Pads and again, it was undeliverable. I went to the web site and called the phone number, it was out of service. I wrote the two other email addresses on the website, the webmaster and problems, and both were undeliverable, interestingly, they were forwards to an email address for industrialprinting.com in New Hope MN.

I looked up their web site and can guess that this company is the supplier to Atlas Mouse Pads. I wrote an email to industrial printing to ask about the status of my order. I checked WhoIs and verified that the www.atlasmousepads.com contact email address, physical address, and telephone number for the company matched the WhoIs database. The name on the forwarded emails to industrialprinting.com also matched the WhoIs owner.

Further, I wrote Google security because this company comes up second on a search of "custom mouse pad" and I asked them who can I talk to and do they have a policy to "delist" companies like this.

So, this is my quandry: how worried should I be? Atlas Mouse Pads took my order, took my artwork, took my credit card info, responded with an email invoice, then did not deliver the product nor did they charge my bank account, and none of the email addresses are valid or the phone number - they cannot be contacted. The potential for credit card fraud exists. I think I am the first Rip Off Report on this company - it did not show up in a Rip Off Report search. At this point they did not steal from me, but they took sensitive info and are incommunicado!
