I signed up for ATN Promo to work as a promotion model for the T-MOBILE with BOBCAR (battery car) and ATN PROMO ILL (they work in Chicago). The event was in every single store in Miami area.
First of all, I have work 2 years in promotions on Florida and other 3 more in California, there was a total dis-organization on this event, everybody knows that since the beginning (Sylena, Eddie, Natalia, Julio and everybody who works there).

Jennifer Hibler
was the main reason of why everything went bad, from Chicago was making the schedule of every single day, just one day before the next event!!! while Sylena Reid was the manager in Miami, who was working with us 2 or 4 promotional models in 2 different BobCars in 2 different locations. This was a mess, many mistakes that costs time and money  or gas who was not pay for some of the employees, changes on the schedule, and more.

THE MAIN PROBLEM WAS THAT ATN PROMO DO NOT PAY !!!

they just pay me 800$ dollars when they still owe me 350$.
They paid 2 weeks because I was calling every single day to Jennifer Hibler, (who never pick up the phone or answer back or call you back or email you back)
I have worked for Bob Car T-Mobile on October 2010 schedule:
Week 1: Tuesday 05 -
Week 2: Thursday 07 - Friday 08 - Saturday 09 - Sunday 10 - Monday 11 - Tuesday 12
Week 3: Thursday 14 - Friday 15 - Saturday 16 -  Sunday 17 - Monday 18 - Friday 22
Total 13 days, I was paid 9 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ATN PROMO owe me 4 days:  360$ dollars.

ATN Promo Response to Staff Payment Concerns

#2UPDATE Employee ..inside information

Mon, November 18, 2013

I would like to take a minute to address the concerns called out here on Rip-Off Report over the last few years regarding ATN and their lack of payment to their staff.

Before anything else, if you were truly not paid for work you performed on behalf of ATN Promo, I encourage you to go to the Illinois Secretary of State and file a report as this issue needs to be resolved immediately.

ATN has now been in business for over a decade (11 years to be exact). Throughout that time, we have remained in good standing with the State of Illinois – something that would not remain true if we were a scam company or we didn’t pay our staff. We in fact do pay all of our staff for the work they’ve performed. There are only three reasons why someone would not be paid via ATN:

-       If they no-showed or cancelled at the last minute

-       If there was a blatant breach of contract by the staff member

-       If the employee moved and did not contact ATN with their change of address

My question back to the staff who are questioning ATN for lack of payment would simply be this: upon working for ATN Promo, did you read and understand the terms of the agreement you knowingly and willingly signed? Specifically in the following areas:

-       Payment terms

  • During the timeframe of these complaints, ATN’s payment terms dictated staff would be paid within five (5) days of ATN receiving payment from their client. Unfortunately there are times when a client will not pay ATN for 90+ days and because of that, payment to staff can be delayed.
  • Our payment structure has since changed drastically (for the better). For current information on ATN and their current payment process, please visit the FAQ’s section of ATN’s website - http://www.atnpromo.com/faqs/

-       W9 paperwork (if applicable – only applicable for those earning < $600)

  • Did you submit your completed W9 form?
  • Was it filled out properly?

-       Last minute cancellation/no show policy

  • If you cancelled for an event you were confirmed to work and did not give proper notice (48 hours), you are subject to a $150 cancellation fee.
  • The same policy is in place for employees who no call/no show to an event in which they were confirmed to work.
  • In these circumstances, the $150 is collected from additional monies owed to said employee; thus potentially eliminating a paycheck said employee may have previously earned.

-       Blatant breach of contract (your ATN employment agreement)

  • The following are examples of a blatant breach of contract, which would result in withholding of payment from an ATN employee
    • Circumventing ATN and directly contacting clients directly at any time
    • Soliciting yourself to a client onsite
    • Acting in an inappropriate manner toward ATN internal staff/clients/the general public
    • Discussing pay rates with other ATN employees

Should you have any questions regarding any of the information enclosed above, please feel free to reach out to the ATN office directly as this is and will always be the best course of action for resolving any issues you may have with the company. When reaching out, please be sure to provide the following information:

-       Your full name

-       Your base location

-       The event(s) in question where you have yet to receive payment

  • Program name
  • Program dates/dates worked

We look forward to resolving these issues and working with everyone again in the near future.

Sincerely,
The ATN Team
