I hired this company to repair my 60" TV. They charged $80 just to come 2.3 miles to look at the screen. I was also charged an additional $89 diagnostic fee. These fees were to subtracted from the overall cost of the repairs. I was then told that the part was on back order. I asked for a refund of the $169 that I had given them because they could not complete the job. I was told that I could only be refunded $40. The other $129 is was charged for the less than 5 mile round trip and a few minutes looking up the part number to find out they couldn't get it. The service was ok, but they couldn't complete the job. As a small business owner, I am a firm believer in giving a free estimate. I could never in good conscience charge someone for work that I never completed.
