My story is similiar,Like the other 2 complaints.I signed up for this program back in May/2012. Got paid the commissions for lines of credit they opened. Everything seemed to be okay for a year. But then, the calls started  coming from credit card banks about no payments, late payments, etc. Now,I have a collection co.,looking to get $15,000+from 1 card owed to them by Jon Miller & Co.,at Attention Marketing,Inc. and looking to me for it. Also, after my contract year expired, they opened 2 more credit cards in my personal name, maxed them out, made about 2 minimum payments and now I'm getting the no payment notices from at least one as well. I never received or signed a new contract with Attn Marketing,Inc. I'm going to tell this one credit card co. that I never authorized a personal card from them in my name or made the charges on the account.

Does anyone know if I can legally state that to avoid those charges on this personal  account, since I never used the card myself and Jon Mller's Co. made all the charges and never paid me a commission on the use of this personal card.

Would not that be a defense claim of identity theft or fraud? Does anybody know for sure?

Their business model seemed to be in buying below market value homes,re-habbing them and then flipping them to 1st time homebuyers who get their own mortgages. The benefit being they could own a home for cheaper than renting.

I believe they worked with some preferred lenders who selling or getting the mortgages guaranteed by Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae,VA,etc. And with todays low interest rates, etc.  But I think now new laws took effect that make the lending more restrictive and require higher credit scores, bigger down payments, better income reporting and the govt. not backing the loans like they used to. This may have caused lower turnover of properties they are holding and cramped their cash flow and they got squeezed hard forcing them to stop paying the credit card payments. Just my guess.

Or maybe their plan all along was to just get credit guarantors involved for the 1 year contract term and then walk away,

but it seems this program has been going on for several years now, and these complaints are the first I heard.I would think there would have been more complaints from others a lot earlier than now-correct?  I did check on Rip-Off report over a year ago, before I first signed up and there was no reports. Also, I recently check on the Eastern Michigan BBB site and there are no complaints like mine, and they have a B rating. Also the website of 720cfomarketing.com is still active. Maybe ,it's still early yet, and more complaints will follow. There's got to be more than just us 3 victims here so far. Would like to be made aware of any follow-up on this or find out if they completely go out of business or file bankruptcy, etc. Also anyone out there or know an attorney who can find out if we can claim a defense of credit fraud or business oppty fraud, etc.?

IN answer to your question at the end of your post, just do what I did:

There is a very informative and EDUCATIONAL related post on RipOffReport.  Here it is
http://tinyurl.com/psrup8t
If link does not work then just Google "720CFO Help yourself before it's too late! Flint Wyoming"

An attorney cannot help you.  Talk to Thompson, he will explain your option.  The last thing you want to do is file bankruptcy.  You are admitting to the debt!  Don't do that!

Read Jon Miller's response to many of the eight (as of 2/1/14) posts here on ripoffreport, and you will see that his world is crashing down.  His Ponzi scheme is coming to an end, and he is going down fighting.  If you are checking into the 720cfoprogram and Attention Marketing Inc., run as fast as you can from this fraudulent program, and be aware that the government is all over this scam.  Jon Miller and Louie Frias, a real estate person in Las Vegas who is Jon Miller's front man, are scared to death, and in a short while their fraudulent activity will be over.  DO NOT get involved with Jon Miller and Louie Frias, nor the fictional Mike Dorris.

It takes a true sociopath to try to justify screwing over your victims.  Jon Miller, Louie Frias and anyone involved in Attention Marketing, Inc. and the 720 CFO Program never had any intention of holding up their end of the contract.  Their only goal was to drain the accounts of their victims, make excuses, and run and hide like the pathic losers they are.

Jon Miller likes to tell everyone about his contract and the fact everyone knew the risks involved, but why not explain what went wrong if there was an actual business?  He can't explain, because there was never any business except the business of stealing from others.

Now go away, you pathetic little man.

Joe Popiel Is A LIAR

Joe Popiel post complete lies about his role and/or involment in the program. First he forgets to tell the readers he personally made $19,750.00 in 2011 for being a credit partner. He also forgets that he contacted our firm we did not contact him. Also he has never been asked nor given our company a penny out of his pocket.

He was given a blank contract to reveiw for long as he wanted or needed, he could have even consulted an Attorney of his own choice. He agreed that he fully understood the contract well as the risk which where cleary pointed out in his contract.

Mr. Popiel elected to excute and have the contract notorized then returned it. He opened an account at BOA to recieve his payment for services rendered which he promptly got. (We will be happy to share a print out from his account as proof) then he wants to cry victim! He entereed into a legal contract and was paid, if he thinks the terms were breached then it is a civil matter to be taken up in a civil court of law aand not aired out on some website.

Regarding "anonymous's" posts regarding this company and its program, we find it curious that the poster(s) don't reveal themselves as they are merely disgruntled that stomping their feet did not produce the results they demanded. They have a contract which they executed, reviewed and claimed they understood. This contract has been bilaterally honored.

They were paid handsomely for their participation and the use of any third parties for additional services, were strictly that. THIRD PARTIES UNRELATED to AMI or its subsidiaries. To make false claims against AMI, its employees or third parties contracted to assist with the poster(s) issues, will be dealt with at the civil level.

The RIP OFF report attempting to protect anonymous posters of unsubstantiated claims by hiding behind the First Amendment will not be a deterrent to locating the poster(s) and prosecuting them.

End of rebuttal.
