Complaint Review: Attorney List Pro

Hello,

We purchased a list from Attorney List Pro to market our services. Being a start up and having a majority of our marketing efforts done through email marketing, their "Targeted Opt-In List" and "93% Data Guarantee" seemed like a no brainer. We were wrong. After purchasing a list that they said had over 26 thousand email addresses and over 34 thousand total leads, they sent us 15 thousand leads and 7,500 email addresses. We contacted them and they said that there was an issue but sent the remaining files that we purchased. Take in mind that they only do business over email.

So after we cleaned up the list to a format that would work best for our systems, that's where the problems started. We started calling off the list and much to our avail, a majority of the numbers were wrong. We imported the provided email addresses to our third party email marketing company and sure enough, 75% of them kicked back. If you're using a third party to send out your emails and you get this amount of bounces, they flag your account and drop you. 

We contacted them and they pretty much said that the only data guarantee was for their mailing addresses!? They stopped all communication with us and refuse to refund our money. I can understand having a few incorrect email addresses but 75% of their advertised being wrong is a big issue, especially for a start up company that has to watch every dollar going out.

If you're thinking about purchasing the Attorney List from Business List Pro, I wouldn't. Their false advertising resulted in our company losing $200.00 (The cost of the list and the cost of being dropped from our third party email service provider).
