Doug Williams, auston cole, lani chandler and Michelle Ames all knowingly performed illegal layoffs, bounced checks to employees, vendors, independent contractors, rental agreements to name a few; signed legal documents illegally and filed with courts; purposely held checks past pay periods; purposely let offices end in eviction; lied to all remaining employees about the state of the company.

The four individuals listed above kept the knowledge of bankruptcy from the remaining employees to keep them working.  A plan that was set in motion months prior.

Many times during the 2012 year employees would be denied medical because payments were not made timely.  To date I have know idea if my own payments were ever made in full.

I only hope these people realize the pain and suffering they have caused to so many.

Sad but true

Although former employees may be disgusted by the report, everything stated about bounced checks and failure to pay medical insurance premiums is true.  ADS was once a great place to work, but consistent problems since 2008 became even uglier in 2012.   The ownership group relied upon employee loyalty to stay afloat, with many agreeing to hold paychecks until funds were available.  Even then employee checks bounced and managers were in a position to keep offices afloat while employees sought more stable employment.   By the end of 2012 employees were no longer being reimbursed for mileage and by the first of the year employees who left voluntarily or were relieved of their positions were not given final pay checks.  The company still in debt to former employees for wages earned and not paid.  Charisma will only get you so far.  I equate the ADS owner/employee relationship to an abusive relationship.  People kept going to work because they liked and trusted the ownership group.  They trusted the promises stating it would get better. .. "They said they were sorry" . . . "Things will get better. . . "  "My check bounced but they feel really bad about it."   Unfortunately the ownership group lied in the end.  Often through employees because the owners would not speak to staff in the branches.  Some were even fired via email.

So, Former Employee, your disgust is misdirected, I'm sad to say.  The people who have made these statements have every right to feel the way they feel.  Their employer stole from them.

Name Slander is against the law

To whoever wrote this report:

Please know that to slander someone's name is illegal activity.  If you were an employee of ADS, which I'm sure you were, then you know that the accusations against Lani Chandler and Michelle Ames are false.  They are not stock holders, owners, or have any interest in the company.  They are employees.  These posts are being monitored and an attorney has been contacted regarding the illegal slander of these names.  Just a warning.  If you need to vent because of the circumstances, that's fine, but you shouldn't commit a crime and falsly accuse people that you KNOW are innocent.

As a once long time employee of the accused company in this report, I am immeasurably disgusted and outraged by these accusations. Creating such an outrageous, offensive, and detestable report about a business that has exceedingly provided the best in service to its customers and tried to create a "home-like" environment at work for its employees, is absolutely repulsive. Then to take the names of people in the company and completely invade, trash, misuse, and falsely represent their reputation really shows the character behind the author of this report.

I hope that you realize the pain and suffering you have caused  because like you, we are all struggling to stay afloat. Smaller businesses like this one do not need the help of upset ex-employees to ruin their business, when it is a struggle in its own to stay afloat in this economy.

In the end, no business wants to have to layoff employees! There were an abundance of better ways to go about the outrage you feel towards the company, than to slander and bash their name to their costumers and the entire world of the internet.

As a once long time employee of ADS, I will always be grateful for the opportunity to work for such a great company.
